Our Story

It all started with a trip to Japan. Two Swiss friends, passionate about discoveries and authentic flavors, flew off into the unknown, without imagining that their adventure would change their lives.

In Kyoto, between peaceful temples and traditional alleyways, they discovered matcha. Not the kind you drink in a hurry, but a vibrant, brilliant green matcha, with an incomparable umami sweetness.

A real ceremony, a suspended moment.

They learned the history, the know-how, the patience behind each carefully cultivated and ground leaf. And at that moment, it became clear: this treasure had to travel.

Back in Switzerland, they decided to share this discovery by creating MIYA MATCHA, a brand born from a friendship, a trip, and a love for the authenticity of Kyoto...
